Indian actor and popular television game show host Amitabh Bachchan is geared up for the season 7 of "Kaun Banega Corepati" with a renewed format and a lavish set.
"Working the opening of the 7th season KBC .. yours truly .. tasseled shoes and all ... yeeeaaaahhhh baby," the excited Star tweeted on Wednesday.
The 70-year-old star, who had recently expressed nervousness at the show's launch, had taken the humble stand saying the show's popularity had nothing to do with him.
"I take zero credit...Anybody can run the show. It's running in 127 countries and I am not there in those countries, I am only here in India. There is an intrinsic value in the show," Amitabh Bachchan told IANS in an interview.
The show has undergone several changes over the years and had even been hosted by actor Shah Rukh Khan once.
The new season, which is set to air from 5 September, will now have a jackpot money of ₹7 crores and a newer addition will be the 5th lifeline 'Power Paplu' enabling contestants to re-use one of the used lifelines.
The inaugural episode of the season will have singer Sonu Nigam gracing the screens and the Big B reportedly grooved to the song.
"KBC opener, Sept 6, 8.30 Sony...with the incomparable Sonu Nigam ... huhuhhuh haha aahhhuu .. YEEEAAHHH !!" Bachchan tweeted.
Another feature of the popular show is a brand new set which the actor said, "The stunning new set of KBC .. !!! Quite amazing .. better seen real than in a picture."
