"Kai Po Che!" star Sushant Singh Rajput is on cloud nine. After the success of his debut film, Sushant has reportedly bagged a big role in Karan Johar's next project.
"Kai Po Che!" directed by Abhishek Kapoor also features Amit Sadh and Raj Kumar Yadav in lead roles.
The 27-year-old actor started his acting career with a daily soap, "Pavitra Rishta". Prior to his venture on the big screen, he became a hugely successful television actor with "Pavitra Rishta".
The actor has apparently inked a deal with one of the most sought after directors in Bollywood - Karan Johar.
"He seems to be doing very well right now. He has inked a deal with Karan Johar's production house. When the paperwork is done, Sushant and the production house will make their announcement," a source told Mid-Day.
But the report has been denied by Karan Johar's spokesperson who said, "Not true. Karan has not signed Sushant for any film."
Put aside reports of signing a deal with Karan, Sushant is working on two big screen projects. He has been confirmed for a role in Rajkumar Hirani's "Peekay" starring Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma . Also, he would be paired opposite Parineeti Chopra in a Yash Raj Films' project that will be directed by Maneesh Sharma.
