Jersey Shore star Snooki has finally become a mom!
The pint-sized Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi has given birth to a baby boy, said her representative to MTV on Sunday.
The 24-year-old reality star welcomed her first child with fiancé Jionni LaValle at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston at around 3:00 am on Sunday morning.
The child is healthy and weights 6lbs. The couple has named him "Lorenzo Dominic".
"The world just got another Guido!!!" her representative told MTV. "Lorenzo Dominic LaValle has entered the world weighing 6lbs, 5oz. Nicole, Jionni & Enzo are doing great!"
Soon after getting into labor, Snooki, who described herself as a "Pregnant Whale", tweeted before entering the hospital: "I'm a balloon waiting to pop."
Her rep on Saturday told E! News that "Nicole has gone into labor... While we understand she has fans everywhere-hospitals now included-we ask that her privacy be respected moving forward. We'll all get to meet her Italian Stallion newborn soon enough."
Snooki and Jionni started dating two years ago. The couple announced the news in May when she was already six months into her pregnancy.
Though she discovered the news "right after New Year's," she chose to remain tight-lipped over certain reasons.
"Thank You everyone!! Sorry about that wait but glad everyone's happy!! Nicole and I are real excited!! Our baby is going to be #ShortnTan," LaValle had announced on Twitter in May.
As soon as the news broke out, Twitter has been abuzz with wishes and blessing for the star and her little one.
