Yash Chopra has finally come up with the title for the much-anticipated movie starring Shah Rukh Khan. The official announcement was made on Tuesday months after the filmmaker initially titled the romance saga as "A Yash Chopra Romance".
Titled "Jab Tak Hai Jaan", the film is riding high on expectations with never-seen-before pairing between Shah Rukh and Katrina Kaif. Anushka Sharma completes the romance triangle.
The film also marks Chopra's comeback as director. His last stint as director was in 2004 film "Veer-Zaara" - an epic cross-border romance that starred Shah Rukh, Preity Zinta, and Rani Mukherjee.
Award winning composer AR Rahman and lyricist Gulzar are also roped on board the film and are said to have added poetic justice to the scores, IANS reported.
Since the announcement of the film title, Twitter was abuzz with curiosity and excitement amongst movie fans.
Shah Rukh even tweeted on Tuesday to share his excitement over the title "Jab Tak Hai Jaan". "Will do my own English translation of the poem & update. Am glad most liked the title...i am getting used to it myself...Jab Tak Hai JAAN.." he wrote.
Even the trailer of the movie has raised expectations of Shah Rukh's fans who are keen to see him playing the role of an army officer, as illustrated by the film poster unveiled recently.
"Jab Tak Hai Jaan", which is slated to release on Nov 13, was shot in London and Ladakh, the news agency said.
Katrina essayed a feminine character while Anushka took on a more aggressive role.
