Yash Raj Film's elite "Dhoom" franchise may rope in Salman Khan for its fourth instalment.
Aamir Khan created his record shattering presence in "Dhoom 3," which crossed the ₹500 crore mark globally and after this stupendous success, the filmmakers, as per various reports are contemplating a fourth franchise of the action-thriller series and Salman's name has been proposed for the villain's role.
The "Dhoom" series is well known for its adept and stylish list of baddies right from John Abraham in the first film, followed by Hrithik Roshan and then Aamir Khan in the latest sequel.
With such impressive line of celebs as baddies, it is natural to pop up Salman's name in rumours. After all, the "Jai Ho" star's massive popularity would only supplement the film's reach.
Interestingly, the 48-year-old till date has never played a negative character and was only seen in a partly grey shade in "Tere Naam" (2003). The actor has previously confessed his discomfort in donning characters with negative traits and hence famously turned down "Baazigar," eventually went to Shah Rukh Khan.
But now, the bigger question remains is whether Salman would give his nod to the role of villain, if "Dhoom 4" goes underway.
Villain or not, the actor is now set to star in double roles consecutively twice.
Sooraj Barjatya's upcoming "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" will have him in double roles after 17 years and again the actor will be seen in dual avatars for Anees Bazme's "No Entry Mein Entry" reported DNA.
The news was confirmed by Bazmee, who revealed to the tabloid that despite Salman's back-to-back double roles in consecutive films, the roles wouldn't be similar.
