The trailer of highly-anticipated action film "Dhoom 3" has finally been unveiled.
The two-minute, 46-second long trailer has Aamir Khan taking centre stage with his powerful screen presence. His origin and double life as a circus entertainer and a robber is made obvious. Supercop Abhishek Bachchan with his aide Uday Chopra extend a crackdown on two high-end robberies using clues in the form of a clown mask. Katrina Kaif makes a late entry as the overtly flexible acrobat and as Aamir's partner in crime.
The visually stunning trailer has raised expectations and clearly stands up to perfectionist Aamir Khan's perfectionist tag. The Imax format of the trailer is obvious from its stunning picture quality, which is enhanced further with adrenaline pumping shots.

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan having watched the early preview of the trailer on Tuesday tweeted, "Adi Chopra calls me to his preview theatre to view the first trailer of 'DHOOM 3' ... astounding!! Such finesse!!"
The trailer had garnered enough reactions prior to the film's release and has been in the news for being shrouded in mystery during production.
Aamir has been highly heavily involved in the film's post-production work. Reportedly, the actor took a break from his "Peekay" film schedule to focus more on the "Dhoom 3".
In the countdown to the trailer's release, motion posters introducing the film's four prominent charcters - Aamir, Katrina, Abhishek and Uday, were introduced in their respective avatars.
Since Yash Raj Films is the first to release in the IMAX format, all arrangements for a perfect trailer launch has been made. Even the production house went on to employ tight security measures for the event to avoid any prior leaks and lapses, reported The Times of India.
Even the final cut of the trailer was shown to Aamir in person and not sent to him via other means.
"Dhoom 3" is slated to release on 20 December and with its trailer out, the Aamir starrer is pegged to give tough competiton to Hrithik Roshan's upcoming film "Krrish 3".
