Salman Khan starrer action comedy film "Dabangg 2" is enjoying the monopoly at the box office across India as well as in the international market.
Arbaaz Khan's debut directorial film was the last film that was released in the year 2012. The action comedy features Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles.
"#Dabangg2 [till Sunday; 10 days] 127.78 cr, Mon 4.5 cr, Tue 7.25 cr to 7.5 cr. Total: Rs 139.5 cr + nett," trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted on Wednesday.
The overall total of the movie in India now stands at approximately ₹139.5 crore.
The movie is dominating the box offices ticket window in its second week. It grossed approximately ₹21 cr, ₹ 4.5 crore on Monday and ₹ 7.5 crore on Tuesday, taking the five-day total of second week to ₹33 crore nett at domestic box office.
It is going strong at multiplexes as well as on single screens. It held well at domestic box office especially in north circuit during the first week of its release but business fell in the second week due to severe cold, India-Pakistan cricket series and Delhi gang-rape protest.
"Dabangg 2" is the sequel to Salman's 2010 blockbuster "Dabangg". The movie also features Vinod Khanna, Arbaaz Khan, Prakash Raj, Deepak Dobriyal, Sandeepa Dhar and Nikitan Dheer in supporting roles.
