The shooting of Kapil Sharma's show "Comedy Nights With Kapil" will now take place on the sets of reality show "Bigg Boss".
The sets of the comedy show were gutted down in a fire which caused massive damage due to which the shooting was stalled. Since then, producers have been scouting for a location to shoot the next episode.
The Times of India quoting a reliable source reported that "the shooting of the comedy show will now take place on the sets of Bigg Boss 7's Weekend Ka Wow."
"Colors TV channel and the production of the serial has been searching for an alternative set to shoot the upcoming episodes of the show and finally they have decided to shoot on Bigg Boss sets located at Lonavla," the source added.
Ali Asgar, who plays the role of Dadi, confirmed the news that shooting of the show will now take place on the sets of "Bigg Boss".
"Whatever happened was unfortunate but the show must go on and we are ready to bring smiles on the faces of the audiences' once again," he said.
The incident happened at around 6.30 am on Wednesday at Goregaon Film City in Mumbai. The fire was caused due to short circuit on the sets. As per reports, the show's producers have incurred a loss of around ₹20 crore.
Playback singer Sonu Nigam and child artiste Saloni were supposed to shoot for the comedy serial on the same day when the incident occurred.
"Can u all imagine! I get prepared for Comedy Nights with Kapil, and d set burns into ashes d same day," Nigam tweeted on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, (29 September) Soha Ali Khan and Javed Jaffery will be seen on the sets of "Comedy Nights With Kapil" to promote their film "War Chhod Na Yaar", on Sunday (29 September). This will be the last show on the old sets, which were burnt to ashes.
