Actress Shruti Haasan will not be sharing screen space with her father, Kamal Haasan, in his movie "Bitter Chocolate".
Earlier, it was reported that the father-daughter duo will be seen together in the upcoming Tamil film written and directed by Kamal, much to the delight of the fans.
The actor himself confirmed the news few days ago saying, "Bitter Chocolate is a title that should get audiences intrigued. I wanted to make sure that whenever Shruti acts with me, the role that I have for her would do justice to her. Also, I wanted her to gather some experiences as an actor before partnering me on screen. She has been doing some good work in the past few years. I'm very proud of the way she has conducted herself both on and off screen," according to DNA.
Kamal was expected to start the movie after his current directorial venture "Viswhwaroopam 2", a sequel to "Vishwaroopam".
But, Shruti has denied doing the movie with her legendary father citing date issues. "Hi tweeple I'm not a part of bitter chocolate with my father I'm both sad and happy to say i have no dates at the moment:) next time :)," the actress tweeted.
Shurti is currently busy with multiple projects including "Yevadu" with Ram Charan Teja and Allu Arjun, "Balupu" with Ravi Teja, "Race Gurram" with Allu Arjun and an untitled project by director Harish Shankar. The multi-faceted actress has already completed her shooting for two Hindi projects - "D-Day" and "Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya".
On the other hand, her father Kamal Haasan is busy with "Vishwaroopam 2", which is likely to get released this year. Expectations are already high for this movie after a great response for the first part, which is still doing good business on weekends. The movie recently completed 50 days, after its release was delayed by two weeks following some controversies surrounding it.
