"Besharam", which raked in ₹21 crore on the first day of its release, has been declared a flop after completing its two-week run.
The film that completed its second week at the box office has collected just ₹59.79 crore.
"Besharam" earned a decent ₹82.27 crore, including the overseas score of ₹22.48 crore, at the worldwide box office from its two-week run.
After a dramatic fall in its first week, the second week collection of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer is just ₹4.43 crore.
"#Besharam collected ₹4.43 cr nett in Week 2. Grand total: ₹ 59.79 cr nett. Flop. Overseas total $ 3.67 million [₹ 22.48 cr] from 44 countries," trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh said.
"Besharam" is the latest film in the series of flops, which had top Bollywood stars acting in them, released this year. Earlier, "Himmatwala", "Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Dobaara" and "Zanjeer" among others, fell flat within days of their release.
During the second week of the film, "Besharam" faced competition from two films, "War Chhod Na Yaar" and "Boss".
The film fraternity took a swipe at the film after its disastrous performance in theatres across the nation. Recently, while talking to Sharman Joshi and Jaaved Jaaferi on reality show "Bigg Boss 7", Salman Khan joked about "Besharam" by saying that critics, who gave the film one-and-a-half stars, have taken out that one star as well, after its poor box office performance.
Meanwhile, Javed, Sharman and Soha Ali Khan's war comedy film "War Chhod na Yaar" has completed its first week with decent collections. "The film collected ₹6.75 cr nett in Week 1," Adarsh said.
The collection remained low due to the release of the big-budget film "Boss" on 16 October.
