The business of "Attarintiki Daredi" (AD) have remained steady despite the moderate rains in coastal regions.
According to AndhraBoxOffice, "AD" has fared better on Tuesday (22 October) as against Monday when the film's collections dropped significantly. While continuous rains have affected the revenue of other Telugu releases, "AD" has reportedly maintained its pace at the box office.
The website has reported that the film is estimated to have raked in approximately ₹25 lakh-₹30 lakh share on its 26th day in Andhra Pradesh. The film's total worldwide share is estimated to be around ₹70.8 crore-₹70.9 crore. The Pawan starrer is said to have earned around ₹4.9-crore share (26 days) in Guntur area, while it fetched ₹3.52 crore from the Krishna area. Its Nellore collections stand at ₹2.45 crore, whereas total East and West Godavari share is pegged at over ₹6 crore.
"Magadheera" (MD) still holds the all time record in the aforementioned areas. But "AD" is expected to soon surpass these figures. Trade analysts believe that the film is all set break "MD" record in a few days and emerge as the new industry hit.
Interestingly, "MD" full run share in Andhra Pradesh is way ahead of "AD". But the Pawan starrer has a huge lead over "MD" in its collections at the overseas markets, which is working in its favour and is likely to play a major role in helping "AD" break "MD" worldwide share.
Even as the buzz surrounding "AD" is still going on, speculations about Pawan's next film "Gabbar Singh 2" have started to emerge. According to reports, "Gabbar Singh 2" will go on floors in December. The film's director Sampath Nandi is reportedly working on the script, after which it is set to commence. The film is expected to release next year.
