Pawan Kalyan's "Attarintiki Daredi" has opened to a massive response in the overseas markets besides India.
Fans have gone into a frenzy after seeing their screen idol, Pawan Kalyan, on the big screen. Powerstar's performance and Trivikram's direction has earned appreciation from all quarters. The film has performed well, despite facing piracy issues before its release.
"Attarintiki Daredi earned $429,000 from Thursday previews in the US. The film's collections on Friday (28 September) are higher than Thursday's figures, earning $495,000. The two-day collections of the film are pegged at $924,000 (over ₹5 crore), according to film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Owing to the fantastic response for the film, additionals shows have been arranged in several areas across the US, said Jeevi, editor and reviewer of Idlebrain.
"Attarintiki Daredi" has grossed higher than Jr NTR's "Baadshah" at the overseas box office. "Baadshah" crossed the $1 million mark in its opening weekend, which "Attarintiki Daredi" may have supassed in three days (by Saturday). However, an official confirmation on the same is yet to be made.
According to Idlebrain's Jeevi, the family entertainer flick is all set to be the biggest Telugu grosser in Gulf/Middle East and Dubai.
India Markets
"Attarintiki Daredi" embarked on an impressive start in India. The film earned over ₹10 crore on the first day of its release at the Andhra Pradesh box office.
It raked in ₹3.28 crore from the Nizam area, ₹2.15 crore from Ceded, ₹82 lakh from Vizag, ₹1.40 crore from Guntur, ₹1.04 crore from East, ₹75 lakh from West, ₹71 lakh from Krishna and ₹57 lakh from Nellore.
In Tamil Nadu, "Attarintiki Daredi" opened to a thunderous start. However, details about the film's collections in the state are still not available.
Looking at the grand reception for the film, "Attarintiki Daredi", which was made on a budget of around ₹55 crore, is likely to recover its production cost soon. As there are no big Telugu releases, the Pawan starrer will be dominating the box office for at least two weeks.
