With the top 11 contestants in "American Idol" 2014 having performed for America's votes on Wednesday, one with the least votes will be sent home in the elimination round on Thursday.
The elimination round of "American Idol" will be telecast from 8 pm to 10 pm EST on Fox, Thursday (6:30am-8:30 am IST, Friday).
The top 11 contestants sang their favorite songs before the judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. on Wednesday's episode themed "Songs From the Cinema". Some of them like Jena Irene, Caleb Johnson, Malaya Watson, and J Harris received praises and standing ovation from the judges for their rendition.
With singers like Irene, Watson and MK Nobillette, who were seen in the bottom three in the past weeks, giving strong performances on Wednesday, there could be some new twists as Americans will choose who deserves to move ahead, based on the live performances.
