Star Plus' "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" is finally gearing up for the long-pending leap. According to reports, the show will soon take a seven-year leap, which will mark the exit of adorable child artiste Ruhaanika Dhawan, who plays Ruhi on the show.
It was reported earlier that Aditi Bhatia, who was last seen on "Tashan-E-Ishq," would play the role of a grown-up Ruhi. While viewers are curious to see a grown-up Ruhi and the plot of the show post the leap, a video has surfaced online where Aditi is seen in character.
According to a SpotboyE report, Ruhi will grow up to be a tomboyish rebellious teenager. Interestingly, as the story progresses after the leap, viewers will witness Ruhi growing up to hate her stepmother Ishi-ma (Divyanka Tripathi), whom she loved as a child. The teenager will instead grow closer to the show's vamp, Nidhi (Pavitra Punia). Nidhi will also rename Ruhi, calling her Ruhaan.
There were reports that television actor Bhavesh Bimani was expected to play the grown-up version of Shravan, while Kavya Ramani might essay the role of Simran Bhalla's daughter Ananya.
Meanwhile, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" is getting more interesting ever since Ishita re-entered the Bhalla household in a new avatar. Ishita, who was shown to have died in the show, made a comeback as bold and beautiful Shanaya in order to take revenge from Nidhi, who ruined her life.
In a recent episodes, Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita came to know Nidhi bribed the judge who handled Ishita's case. Nidhi has a chip that can prove Ishita is not guilty of murdering advocate Chaddha (Lalit Bisht), and the couple was seen trying to find the chip.
