Top Chinese smartphone-maker, Xiaomi, has reportedly revealed the timeline of its flagship devices' launch in India.
Hugo Barra , vice-president (global operation), Xiaomi, while responding to a BGR India (tech website) reader, has confirmed that the flagship steel-clad Xiaomi Mi4 as well as the Mi Pad are undergoing certifications and in all probability, will debut in India by this year end.
He also revealed that the two smartphones, Redmi 1S and Redmi Note, which got launched last month, will finally hit stores in a few weeks time, whereas the latter is expected to be made available before Diwali.
Though the prices of the devices 1S and Note were revealed on Mi3 launch day (22 July), the company kept the release date under wraps. The news comes as relief to many Xiaomi fans, who are waiting to get their hands on the affordable Redmi series smartphones.
In related news, Xiaomi Mi3 will go on for the fourth flash sale on 12 August and owing to tremendous response from the public, company has confirmed to sell 20,000 units, 5,000 more than the previous sale.

For the uninitiated, Xiaomi Mi3 costs just ₹13,999 and sports a 5.0-inch full HD display, 2.3GHz Snapdragon CPU, Android v4.4.2 KitKat (with custom MIUI), full HD display (440 ppi) with Gorilla Glass 3 shield, Aluminum-Magnesium alloy frame and many more feature-rich specifications.
