Ilayathalapathy Vijay's next movie has almost been finalised and the actor seems to be ready to join hands with Atlee Kumar once again after their hit flick "Theri." The upcoming Tamil film is likely to be produced by Sri Thenandal Films.
"Hot News Buzz - #Ilayathalapathy #Vijay and @Atlee_dir #Theri combo for a new film with the prestigious @ThenandalFilms,[sic]" journalist Kaushik revealed the news on Twitter. Atlee Kumar is likely to retain the same team that worked with him in "Theri," which had GV Prakash Kumar's music, George C Williams' cinematography and Ruben's editing.
The reports of Atlee joining hands with Vijay have been doing rounds for some time now. It was initially speculated that they were collaborating for the second instalment of "Theri" and it would be bankrolled by Kalaippuli S Thanu, who had produced "Theri." However, the recent reports say that they are likely to join hands for a new story. Nonetheless, both the actor and director are tight-lipped about the flick.
Meanwhile, Vijay's forthcoming movie with Bharathan has been titled "Bairavaa." The name of the film, along with the first look posters, was revealed on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The movie features Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu, who was earlier seen in Rajinikanth's "Lingaa," as the main antagonist.
Daniel Balaji, Sathish, Mimi Gopi, Harish Uthaman, Sharath Lohitashwa, Sreeman, YG Mahendra and others are playing supporting roles. Keerthy Suresh and Aparna Vinod play the female leads in "Bairavaa," which features Santhosh Narayanan's music, M Sukumar's editing and Praveen KL's editing.
Currently, the "Bairavaa" unit is busy with the last schedule of shooting in Pollachi. The filming is expected to be completed by next month. The flick will be ready for release in January 2017.
