Here is some pretty exciting news for Thala fans!
Ajith-Gautham Menon's upcoming film "Thala 55" has been titled as "Yennai Arindhaal."
"The most expected title is here to stay big "@YennaiArindhaal" #sri@sairamcreations @DoneChannel1 @menongautham @arunvijayno1, Suresh Chandra, Ajith's manager, tweeted.
Fans have been looking forward to the release of the title of "Thala 55" for the last few months. It was expected that it would be announced on Ganesh Chaturthi back in August. However, it did not happen, much to disappointment of the fans.
But now that the title has been revealed, it will be a real treat for Ajith fans. The hashtags #YennaiArindhaal and #Thala55 have been trending on social networking sites.
Directed by Gautham Menon, "Thala 55" has been touted as an action thriller, with Ajith sporting four different looks. The actor will reportedly appear in the role of an investigative officer.
The film, made on a budget of around ₹50 crore, is reportedly the biggest in Gautham's career so far.
Anushka Shetty and Trisha play the female leads, while Arun Vijay, Parvathy Nair, Vivek and Rajasimman are set to appear in pivotal roles.
The production of "Thala 55" is progressing well, with the introduction song shot recently. The song will feature Ajith and Arun Vijay and was choreographed by dancer Sathish. The song, titled "Adhaaru Adhaaru Udhaaru Udhaaru", was written by "Poda Podi" director Vignesh Sivan. It has been touted as a mass number and is expected to turn out to be a big hit.
Harris Jayaraj has composed the songs and there will be four more tracks in the film, other than the "Adhaaru Adhaaru Udhaaru Udhaaru". There is huge expectation on the audio tracks as Harris has teamed up with director Gautham after nearly six years.
The director-music composer duo has come out with fantastic albums before, which have turned out to be big hits. "Thala 55" audio is also expected to impress the audience.
The audio launch of "Thala 55" is likely to happen in November, while the action thriller is expected to hit the screens during Pongal 2015.
