Sony Xperia Z4 Specifications Leak Online; Smartphone Tipped to Boast 64-Bit Snapdragon 810 Octa-core CPU

It has been barely a few weeks since the Sony released the new Xperia Z3 in to global markets, now a report has surfaced online revealing the key specifications of next generation Xperia Z4.

Technology blog Android Origin has learned from its credible sources that the Japanese consumer electronics giant has already initiated the work on the new Xperia Z4 slated for late March 2015 release.

The tipsters also have got hold of the internal document containing the specifications of the Xperia Z4. It is said the 2015 flagship Sony phone will have same Omni-balance design language seen in previous Z series smartphones, but will come with top-of-the-line internal hardware.

It is said to flaunt a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2,560x1,440p) display and will be powered by the recently unveiled Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 series Octa-core CPU (with Adreno 430 GPU) backed by 4GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt memory.

The new Sony phone is also said to boast of more advanced camera with curved Exmor RS CMOS sensor.

It is said Sony Xperia Z4 will remain as flagship phone for the whole of 2015, unlike the previous two years, when Sony used to launch two flagship devices each - Xperia Z and Z1 in 2013 and Xperia Z2 and Z3 in 2014.

Going by the specifications, Sony Xperia Z4 has got all the right mix of features to stand out among rivals, but it is too fanciful to believe at this point, as it is not official yet.

The report is running wild in the internet, but Sony has chosen to remain silent. Until the company comes out and clears air over the rumours, this report will remain as pure speculations only.

However, it has to be noted the Android Origin's sources does have good track record of predicting unreleased smartphones. For instance there were right on the money, when they revealed specifications of Xperia Z3 Compact before its official launch.
