It has been barely a month since Sony's flagship 20.7-megapixel camera phone, Xperia Z1 was unveiled. Now, a spec-sheet of the alleged mini variant of the handset has surfaced online.
Sony community website, Xperia Blog, has leaked the purported brochure of Japanese network carrier, NTT DoCoMo, containing specifications and snapshots of the recently unveiled Xperia Z1 (So-01F) and the rumoured mini-model Xperia Z1 f (So-02f).
The document reveals that Xperia Z1 Mini would have almost all key features that are seen on the original model sans the display size. The device is expected to sport a 4.3-inch HD (720x1280p) screen and pack the latest Snapdragon 800 series CPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB memory and 2300 mAh battery.
The mini variant is also said to pack a 20.7-megapixel camera with G-lens technology. The snapshot of Xperia X1 f taken alongside the original 5.0-inch model gives some credibitlity to the rumours. [To view the Sony Xperia Z1 f, Click Here].
Going by the spec-sheet, it is too fanciful to believe that such a small smartphone would pack so much power inside it. If the rumours turn true, the Xperia Z1 mini phone will be promoted as a premium phone over its rivals, Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and HTC One Mini, which fall in the mid-range class.
