Junior NTR's "Nannaku Prematho" recorded a steep decline in its collection at the US box office on Monday and Tuesday, while Nagarjuna's "Soggade Chinni Nayana" (SCN) fared well on Monday.
"Nannaku Prematho" opened to fantastic response and fared well in the first few days. The movie collected $1,631,799 (Rs 11.05 crore) from 192 screens at the US box office in its five-day extended first weekend and on Sunday, the movie grossed $260,726, which is more than its opening day business ($235,965).
The Sukumar-directed movie had a steep fall on Monday and this was due to the reduced number of shows and busy day for most of the audiences in numerous areas across the country. When compared to its opening day, the film witnessed over 60% drop on Monday. "Nannaku Prematho" has collected $95,980 at the US box office on its sixth day.

"Soggade Chinni Nayana" received decent response and collected $535,183 from 80 screens at the US box office in the first weekend (three days). Like "Nannaku Prematho", the Nagarjuna starrer also witnessed dip in its collection on Monday, but its drop was not that big. When compared to its opening day business ($108,005), the movie dropped by over 35% on Monday.
On its fourth day, "Soggade Chinni Nayana" collected $71,467 at the US box office, taking its four-day US total collection to $606,650 (Rs 4.10 crore). The per-screen average of "Nannaku Prematho" stood at $499, while the per-screen average of "Soggade Chinni Nayana" was $893. These numbers show that the word of mouth is helping the Nagarjuna starrer maintain rock-steady pace and it is likely to do better business than the Junior NTR starrer in coming days.
On Tuesday, "Nannaku Prematho" had another big dip with its collection reaching $25,538 at the US box office on its seventh day. Its seven days total stands at $1,758,082. "Soggade Chinni Nayana" has also showed a huge dip on Tuesday, but its collection is almost closer to the business of "Nannaku Prematho". "Telugu films - USA: #SoggadeChinniNayana Tue $ 22,026.
