Simbu aka Silambarasan seems to walking an extra mile for his forthcoming movie, Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan (AAA), as he is playing triple roles here. It was earlier revealed that he was playing the character of Madura Michael, a young man from the '80s.
Now director Adhik Ravichandran has spilled the beans on his second role in AAA. He tweeted that Simbu will be also seen as a 60-year-old man named Ashwin in the upcoming flick. "Character name #AshwinThatha 1st time ever @iam_str plays 60yr old. secret of weight gain n tnx 4 undergoin d pain fr dis role anna #Sirappu. [sic]"
Prior to the announcement, Adhik Ravichandran tried to create a buzz around the revelation as he wrote, "After #maduramichael Nxt character name&details wil b announcing at 1030 @iam_str 1st ever unbelievable avatar.get ready to trend #Sirappu. [sic]" Simbu has reportedly put on weight for the role.
Meanwhile, the announcement has been welcomed by Simbu's fans, who are talking about his latest challenge and sharing their views on Twitter using the hash tags - #AshwinThatha and #Sirappu.
AAA, which is produced by Michael Rayappan, stars Shriya Saran and Tamannaah Bhatia in the female lead roles. Mahat Raghavendra, VTV Ganesh, Rajendran and others play other significant roles. The movie features Yuvan Shankar Raja's music, Krishnan Vasant's cinematography and Ruben's editing.
