The makers of the Bengali movie "Sesh Sangbad" (means Last Message) starring Srabanti Chatterjee have released a new poster of the film. The latest poster of the women-centric film shows Srabanti in the centre, while a hand from behind shuts her mouth.
The poster also shows a body lying on the ground on one side and actor Partha Sarathi standing with a camera on the other. The background of the pictures has a village that has been set on fire. This is the first time that Srabanti will play the main lead in a movie. The actress will be seen playing the character of a journalist in the film.
Directed by Pallav Gupta, "Sesh Sangbad" will show the fight of a woman. "We have very few women-centric films in Tollywood. And I am happy that Pallav considered me for the part. The film is about a woman's journey," Srabanti was earlier quoted as saying by the Times of India.
Talking about the film, the director had said, "The film is about women empowerment and how, even today, some corporate houses don't pay respect to women. This film shows how a homemaker traces her missing husband and the obstacles she faces. I felt Srabanti fit the bill." Check the poster here:
Apart from Srabanti and Partha, "Sesh Sangbad" also features Pradip Mukherjee and Laboni Sarkar among others. The movie is slated to be released on July 29.
