Samsung Galaxy S5 is all set to hit stores on Friday across India and 149 other global markets, and can be booked online for ₹1500 at the company's official eStore. The smartphone's marquee features include finger-print sensor (on home button), water-and-dust resistant body (IP67 certifications), heart-rate monitor (below camera module), download boaster, fifth generation Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac HT80, MIMO (2x2)) faster wireless data transfer, 0.3-second superfast auto-focus camera feature, and a 2800 mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving Mode, which can run the phone for 390 hours under standby mode.
In India, Galaxy S5 will ship with Samsung's in-house built Exynos Octa-core processor (1.9GHz quad-core + 1.3GHz quad-core), unlike international variant (with Snapdragon 801 series chipset), and the smartphone does not support 4G-LTE network.
