"Premam" fame Sai Pallavi will play the female lead in the upcoming Dulquer Salmaan film directed by Sameer Thahir.
Earlier, cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Sameer Thahir had announced the casting call for a lead actress in the yet-to-be-titled film starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead.
The makers were looking for a lead actress, aged between 18 and 26, with proficient driving skills. It will be interesting to see Malar of "Premam" turning into a bike enthusiast.
The romantic action thriller, which will be produced by Sameer Thahir, Ashiq Usman and Shyju Khalid under the banner of Handmade Films, will hit the theatres in 2016.
The cinematographer-turned-director had earlier helmed Dulquer Salmaan in his "Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi" in 2013. Recently, he produced Dileep starrer "Chandrettan Evideya" under the banner of Handmade Films.
Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan will be next seen in the Martin Prakkat directorial "Charlie", which is gearing up for an Onam release. The duo had earlier worked together in 2013 hit comedy "ABCD: American-Born Confused Desi".
