Allu Arjun's latest outing, "S/o Satyamurthy", has received brilliant opening and superb collection at the US box office in three days. It will cross the mark of $1 million on Sunday.

Mahesh Babu's "Aagadu", which had released in 128 screens in America, was the biggest Tollywood release at the US box office so far. But "S/o Satyamurthy" shattered this record by releasing in 153 cinema halls across the country on 8 April. It was clear evidence of growing popular demand for Allu Arjun's films among Telugu diaspora in the country.
Released in a record number of theatres, "S/o Satyamurthy" opened to an earth-shattering response. The movie showed decent growth on the following days. It has raked in $720,984 (₹4.49 crore) at the US box office in three days (Wednesday Preview shows, Thursday and Friday). The makers are yet to reveal the Saturday figures.
As per the early trends, "S/o Satyamurthy" has collected over $2,50,000 at the US box office on Saturday. Its four-day US collection stands at $870,000+. The movie has registered very good amount of occupancy in the early shows of Sunday and it will surely cross the mark of $1 million on its fifth day in theatres across the country.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#SonOfSatyaMurthy [Telugu] is speeding towards $ 1 mn mark. Wed + Thu $ 487,114, Fri $ 233,870. Total: $ 720,984 [₹ 4.49 cr]. @RentrakIndia."
Junior NTR's "Temper", which crossed the mark of $1 million in six days, is the first movie to achieve this magical number at the US box office in 2015. It is the 11th film to enter the list of the Telugu films that surpassed this mark. Now, "S/O Satyamurthy" is the 12th flick to enter the list. The Trivikram Srinivas-directed film will cross this mark in five days and beat the record of "Temper."
