Looks like hit TV series "Qubool Hai" is a little jinxed in terms of its lead actors. After Karan Singh Grover, Raqesh Vashishth, Karanvir Bohra is all set to quit the show.
Karanvir, who plays Aahil Raza Ibrahim, will reportedly shoot his last episode for the show on 4 April. The makers have apparently planned season 3 with a new set of actors.
"It was a great journey personal and professionally. I had a commitment with the show and now with it starting a new journey, I wish them the best. The parting has been amicable and no one holds any grudges. Every journey has to come to an end, and mine comes to an end now with this show. I wish the show great luck ahead," Tellychakkar quoted him as saying.
While Raqesh and Karanvir had peaceful exits from the show, the "Alone" actor was reportedly sacked. KSG, who played Asad Ahmed Khan, would often turn on sets drunk. The unit also complained of his no-shows and random excuses. It is said that he called in sick most days and would later be found holidaying.
"He has been extremely unprofessional for the past few months, and that is the primary reason for his replacement. The production house had a difficult time altering the storyline constantly due to his unavailability. He would cite illness and then, we would get to know that he is holidaying. The story is going to reach a high point and at such a time, this kind of behaviour is not acceptable," an insider informed the The Times of India after Karan's exit.
Raqesh, who featured in "Qubool Hai" for just 3 months, didn't want to be part of a 20-year-leap the makers were interesting in taking. And according to the post-leap storyline, he would have to play father to a 20-year-old daughter, which he reportedly refused.
"Raqesh wouldn't agree to play Surbhi's father and hence has exited the show. Surbhi will come back as their daughter," a source told TOI last year.
