The first look teaser of forthcoming Kannada movie, "Doddamane Huduga" aka "Dodmane Huduga," hit the internet on Sunday, May 29. It was released on the occasion of the birthday of the actor, Ambareesh, who is a part of the film.
Ambareesh turned 64 on Sunday and the teaser gives a glimpse of his role in "Doddamane Huduga." The entire clip revolves around him, and features him saying a few punchy one-liners. The film's hero, Puneeth Rajkumar, is seen in a few scenes but does not say any dialogue in the teaser.
The video has impressed the audience with its content. The background score and cinematography add a lot of value to the teaser. Many on social media feel that they can see shades of "Godfather" in it.
"Doddamane Huduga" is an action-thriller, directed by Duniya Soori, who is teaming up with Puneeth Rajkumar for the third time, after the blockbusters "Jackie" and "Anna Bond." Their earlier collaborations were a huge success, and people have pinned high hopes on the upcoming Kannada film as well.
Apart from directing the movie, Duniya Soori has also co-written the film with Ravikiran Vikas.
Radhika Pandit plays the role of female lead in "Doddamane Huduga," which is her second collaboration with Puneeth Rajkumar, after "Hudugaru." Sumalatha, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Srinivasa Murthy, P Ravishankar, Chikkanna, Avinash and others form the rest of the cast.
V Harikrishna, who had scored the music for "Jackie" and "Anna Bond," has worked in "Doddamane Huduga," which is produced by M Govindu. Satya Hegde is the cinematographer of the film, which features Deepu S Kumar's editing. The makers plan to release the movie in July.
