A few more weeks to go before Zoya Akhtar's gem "Dil Dhadakne Do" hits screens, and the film is already bagging awards.
Priyanka Chopra and Anil Kapoor were recently in the capital to pick up 'Most Stylish Film' award for their upcoming release at HT Delhi's Most Stylish 2015. PC was named the most India's Style Icon, whereas Kapoor was honoured with the Style Legend Award.
"We are 'Dil Dhadkne Do' at the moment. The film is super refreshing and very sure that people will like this movie," PTI quoted the actress-singer as saying. The trailer garnering close to four million hits on YouTube (if not proof) is sure an indication of what people could think of the film.
The stellar ensemble cast is one of the key reasons why it stands out and is different from the routine Bollywood flicks we are fed with every Friday.
The look and feel of the film is fresh, and so are the pairings. Farhan Akhtar-Priyanka and Ranveer Singh-Anushka Sharma make for two very off-key, yet fun couple. And now, with the release of its music, things have got a notch exciting.
The title track by Priyanka and Farhan is refreshing, and so is "Galla Goodiyan". There's so much energy in the videos the makers have been releasing, that it's hard not to anticipate. Additionally, the posters have done really well and give off a refreshing vibe.
Slated for a 5 June release, the film also stars Shefali Shah and Rahul Bose, and it follows the story of a dysfunctional Punjabi family that takes off on a cruise for a holiday only to later discover the nature of relationships.
