After garnering fabulous response from the audience for the movie "Amar Akbar Anthony," brothers Indrajith and Prithviraj Sukumaran are joining hands again for an upcoming Malayalam movie.
The film, titled "Tiyaan," is the directorial venture of Jiyen Krishnakumar and is being scripted by actor Murali Gopy. The makers have hinted that both actors will be seen in equally important roles in the movie, which is touted to be a socio-political drama.
"Couldn't have asked for a better character from one of the greatest writers of my generation! Can't wait to get my hands on this one! [sic]," Prithviraj wrote on his Facebook page while sharing the first-look poster of the film. "TIYAAN.. Starting to film from July! Really looking forward to this one.. Produced by Haneef Mohammed and directed by Jiyen Krishnakumar, Murali Gopy's screenplay after Left Right Left [sic]," Indrajith posted on his Facebook page. Prithviraj and Indrajith will be seen as Aslan Mohammed and Pattabhiraman, respectively in the movie.
Although the makers of "Tiyaan" are tight-lipped regarding the details of the film, it is understood that they have already captured a few visuals of the Kumbh Mela in Trimbakeshwar and Ramkundh in Nashik that took place in September. The shooting of "Tiyaan" with Indrajith will go on floors at Film City in Hyderabad in July and Prithviraj is expected to join the sets by August. The movie also has Murali Gopy, Ananya and Shine Tom Chacko in significant roles and is being produced by Haneef Mohammed under the banner of Red Rose Creations.
