Parvathy Nair, who was impressed by the personality of "Yennai Arindhaal" co-star Ajith, said he was the friendliest person on the sets.
"It is just a week since I started working with 'Yennai Arindhaal' team, and the friendliest person on the set is none other than Thala Ajith. He is somebody who waves you a 'hi' even before you would. I have been his fan since my childhood and was extremely happy to learn that in real life too he is a genuine and sweet personality," said Parvathy in an interview with The Times of India
However, the actress did not reveal much about her role in the film, but said she will be seen in a deglamorised, yet bold character, which offers her enough screen space.
She will be seen in a character opposite Arun Vijay and added she was initially uncomfortable with her look, but later the team made sure that she is fine with it.
"Anushka and Trisha look quite pretty in the movie and initially, I was not comfortable with my get-up. However, the team instilled confidence in me. Once even Ajith said that I should try out this look from now on!" added the actress.
"Yennai Arindhaal" directed by Gautham Menon is the most awaited movie of Ajith this year. The film, which is his 55th, was initially referred to as "Thala 55". After much anticipation, the team recently announced the title and released the first-look poster of the film.
The story revolves around a cop, Sathyadev, played by Ajith. As per reports, he will be seen in two different looks in the film. This much-awaited entertainer also has a huge star cast including Vivek, Thalaivasal Vijay, Amit Bhargava, Rajasimman and Devi Ajith.
The music is composed by Harris Jayaraj, while the film is edited by Anthony and the cinematography is handled by Dan MacArthur. The film is produced by AM Rathnam and S Aishwarya under the banner of Sri Sai Ram Creations.
