Actor Ram Pothineni has opened up on the controversial dialogue featured in the trailer of his upcoming film, "Pandaga Chesko", and said that it is not targeted at any leading hero of Tollywood.
The makers of "Pandaga Chesko" unleashed the trailer of the film on YouTube on 1 May. The family entertainer values featured in the video were successful in impressing the viewers. Especially, one punch dialogue went viral and created a lot of buzz in the social media.
The dialogue is: "Dhiryam blood lo vunthundhi, body lo vuntundhi, family lo vuntundhi, gundelu nunchi vachey dhammu lo vuntundhi ani edhava sollu chepatham naku istham vundadu."
However, Ram drew flak as the dialogue was seen as an attack on the big Telugu actors, especially Nandamuri Balakrishna. Ram got alert soon after the dialogue started circulating on social media and tried to clear the air before it gets worse.
He tweeted, "Just to Clarify...#PandagaChesko Trailer lo dialogue yevarini Target cheyaledhu...Mana pani manam chusukune school naadhi :) .. (Sic)." (This is to clarify that the dialogue in Pandaga Chesko trailer is not aimed at anyone. I believe in minding my own business.)
"Pandaga Chesko" is a romantic comedy entertainer, which has been directed by Gopichand Malineni. The film revolves around the story of a millionaire, who visits his family in India after earning a lot of money in a foreign country. Veligonda Srinivas has written the story, while Kona Venkat and Anil Ravipudi penned the screenplay. Kona Venkat has also written the dialogues for it.
Ram, Rakul Preet Singh and Sonal Chauhan have played the lead roles, "Pandaga Chesko". The trailer shows that the film is high on romance and comic quotient. Ram and Rakul's chemistry and Brahmanandam, MS Narayana and Raghu Babu's comedy timing are going to be the main highlights of the film.
As per the trailer, S Thaman's music, Arthur A Wilson's beautiful picturisation, exotic foreign locales and colourful costumes will be other big attractions of "Pandaga Chesko", which is slated to be released in theatres across the globe in May 2015.
Kona Venkat says that the movie will be a hilarious entertainer for this summer. The writer tweeted, "PANDAGA CHESKO would be a perfect film for this summer.. Trust me it's hilarious.. Written screenplay & dialogues!!"
