'Oopiri' movie review: Nagarjuna-Karthi-Tamannaah's film gets positive response from audience

Director Vamsi Paidipally's Telugu movie "Oopiri," starring Akkineni Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannaah Bhatia, has received positive reviews from the audience. The viewers have said it is another good family entertainer from Nag after "Manam" and "Soggade Chinni Nayana."

"Oopiri" is a comedy drama that is an adaptation of the French film "The Intouchables." The movie has been simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil as "Thozha." It has been directed by Vamsi Paidipally and produced by Prasad V Potluri under the banner PVP Cinema. Gopi Sunder has composed music for the songs and background score of the movie, while PS Vinod handled cinematography.

The story of "Oopiri" is about a millionaire, who gives more importance to human relations than money. He becomes a quadriplegic and his life is bound to a wheelchair after he meets with an accident. Tamannaah is his assistant, while he appoints Karthi as his care giver. The rest of the film is about the beautiful relationship between the millionaire and hiscare giver.

The audience say "Oopiri" has an interesting plot and the director has done a brilliant work in adapting it to Telugu and Tamil. Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannaah have done fantastic jobs and their performances are the main highlights. #oopiri #Thoza is a beautiful adaptation of intouchables. Authentic with local emotions. Superb work by Vamshi, Nag, Karthi n PVP I was skeptical about Karthi's choice.
