Superstar Mohanlal and director Priyadarshan have worked together for many blockbuster films and reports suggest that the successful duo is all set to team up once again soon.

Recently, there were reports that the duo will join hands for a big budget Russian project that also has Aparna Gopinath, Prathap Pothen and Sasi Kumar in pivotal roles. However, according to latest reports, Mohanlal and Priyadarshan will work for a small budget film ahead of their Russian project.

The director is reportedly waiting for the actor to come back from his vacation to discuss the same. If the rumours ring true, the film will go on floors by February 2016.

Of late, some of Mohanlal-Priyadarshan films could not make a mark at the Kerala box office and the audience is eagerly waiting to see their magic back on screen with the upcoming projects.

Meanwhile, 2016 seems to be a busy year for Mohanlal as he will be part of Jibu Jacob's untitled film opposite Meena. He also has Chandrasekhar Yeleti's Telugu-Malayalam bilingual film "Manamantha" in his kitty with Gautami Tadimalla, S P Balasubramaiam, Naresh, Urvasi and Nedumudi Venu.

Reports also suggest that Mohanlal will be part of Junior NTR-Koratala Siva's Telugu film "Janatha Garage" as the young superstar's father.

Mohanlal is currently awaiting the release of his action film "Pulimurugan", directed by Vysakh.
