Indian smartphone maker Micromax has launched another Android-powered budget tablet in the country. Named as Canvas Tab P690, the latest tablet boasts 2 SIM card slots for managing the calling and browsing activities effectively.
The Micromax Canvas Tab P690 has an 8-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution count of 800x1200 pixels. Powered by a 1.83GHz Intel quad-core processor, the Canvas Tab P690 comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Additionally, the Canvas Tab P690 also features a micro SD card slot for expanding the memory up to 32GB.
The tablet runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.4 operating system and packs a 4,000 mAh battery. Micromax claims the Canvas Tab P690 would offer 180 hours of stand-by time and 13.5 hours of 2G talktime.
On the camera side, the Canvas Tab P690 comes with a 5MP auto-focus camera for primary needs and a 2MP fixed focus sensor for the front. Available in a metallic gray finished body, the tablet offers all the essential connectivity features, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The Canvas Tab P690 also comes with 3G calling ability, but Micromax hasn't confirmed whether it offers 2 slots with 3G ability or not.
The Micromax Canvas Tab P690 is available for ₹8,999 across all online and offline stores in India.
