With the summer transfer window approaching, Manchester United seems to have readied a list of some big names. Gareth bale, Sami Khedira, Kevin Strootman, Paul Pogba, Roberto Firmino and Mats Hummels are some of the names that the hierarchy of United have short-listed.
Strootman has been on Van Gaal's wish-list for long now and he would have completed the transfer to The Old Trafford if he had not suffered knee injury last January. Paul Pogba has established himself as one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe and has had a brilliant season in Italian Serie A but Chelsea looks to swap him with Oscar in the transfer window.
Hummels has been under United's radar for years now and the saga still continues. Recently, he told his teammates during the international break that he is on the verge of an Old Trafforfd move and likely to be priced at ₤35 million, reported telegraph.co.uk. He is van Gaal's no 1 defensive target so far but as of now, none of the official from the clubs have confirmed it.
Roberto Firmino, the Hoffenheim star has been linked to United in the past few weeks. According to reports, a fee of ₤18.6 million has been agreed but officials are yet to confirm the news. If this move does take place, Arsenal and Liverpool will be left disheartened as they were also monitoring the young talent.
German midfielder Sami Khedira has only managed to make 11 appearences this season and is willing to move elsewhere in Europe and he has high chances of moving to United as a place in the first XI looks more certain reported Metro.co.uk.
Amongst all transfer rumours, Bale's transfer to United has been topping the charts alongside Chelsea's record-breaking offer to bring him to The Stamford Bridge. Former United star Paul Parker said that United should swap Bale with David De Gea and that will give them a chance to win back the Premier League title in the next season, reported Espnfc.com.
