Following the success of "Thuruppugulan" in 2006, Mammootty and Johny Antony are all set to team up once again. Reports suggest that the actor and director have started working on their next project, the title of which is yet to be finalised.
Although not much information has been revealed about the upcoming project, which has been written by Nishad Koya, it has been learnt that the film will be extensively shot at Pala and Idukki. The title and full cast of the movie is yet to be finalised and not much is known about Mammootty's role in the film, except that it's an 'Achayan' role.
Mammootty and Johny Antony last teamed up for "Thappana", which however, did not do well at the box office.
Mammootty's latest release "Acha Dhin" received mixed response from the critics and the film is apparently failing to live up to the box office expectations. Another upcoming movie of Mammootty is "Utopiayile Rajavu", which has been directed by Kamal and as usual, his fans have high expectations for this film.
On the other hand, most of Johny Antony's previous films have failed to impress both the critics and the audience, and now the director is hoping to revive his success graph by teaming up with Mammootty. Shooting for the untitled project is expected to commence from November.
This is the fourth time that the actor and the director will join hands and the upcoming movie will reportedly be produced by Milal Jaleel under the banner of Galaxy Films.
