Malayalam movies "Maheshinte Prathikaram," "Puthiya Niyamam" and "Action Hero Biju" did decent businesses at the United Kingdom (UK)-Ireland box office during the second weekend in March (March 11- 13).
The three movies were opened to positive response from the movie-goers and critics. While Mammootty-Nayanthara-starrer crime thriller "Puthiya Niyamam" collected a gross amount of £2,541 (Rs 2.45 lakh) from 19 screens on the first weekend, Nivin Pauly's "Action Hero Biju" completed three weeks of its theatrical run at the UK box office collecting a gross amount of £2,508 during the weekend with the total collection amounting to £32,620 (Rs 31.43 lakh), according to Bollywood Hungama.
However, it was Fahadh Faasil-starrer "Maheshinte Prathikaram" that ruled the UK box office by collecting £5,274 from 29 screens during its second weekend, making a total gross amount of £32,437 (Rs 31.25 lakh). It has to be noted that the Dileesh Pothan directorial has almost reached the total collection by the Abrid Shine movie within two weeks.

Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan's State Award winning movie "Charlie," released in December 2015, is still running successfully at the overseas box office in 42 screens collecting a gross amount of £60,249 (Rs 58.04 lakh) from 10 weekends.
