According to reports, Prithviraj will do a cameo in Mohanlal film "Drishyam", directed by Jeethu Joseph.
Prithvi played the protagonist in Jeethu's previous film 'Memories', a crime thriller, which turned out to be a super hit. The director was expected to do a new film with Prithvi but he went ahead and signed veteran Mohanlal for his next project.
However, insiders now claim that Prithvi will be making an appearance in the same film. Last week, it was also reported that the actor will play an important role in Renjith's new film, starring Mohanlal and Manju Warrier.
In "Drishyam", Mohanlal plays a farmer, while yesteryear South actress Meena plays his wife. Mohanlal is currently doing the post production work on his next release "Geethanjali".
"Geethanjali" is directed by Bollywood hit maker Priyadarshan and Mohanlal will be playing an extended guest role in the film. He will be seen once again as Dr. Sunny, a character from the superhit film "Manichithrathazhu" (1993), which was later remade into Tamil ("Chadramukhi", 2005), Hindi ("Bhool Bhulaiya", 2007) and several other Indian languages.
Jeethu has always wanted to do a project with Mohanlal and jumped at the chance after "Memories". The director is on a roll with his last three films having done well at the box office. Before "Memories", he did the romantic comedy "My Boss" starring Dileep and the family drama "Mummy and Me" starring Mukesh and Urvashi.
"Drishyam" will see Mohanlal playing the father of two girls. The film also has Siddique, Irshad, Asha Sharath and Kalabhavan Shajon playing important roles. It is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
