The songs of Fahadh Faasil's upcoming movie "Monsoon Mangoes" were released online by Malayalam music label Muzik247 on Wednesday, 6 January. While Jelu Jayaraj, Manoj Kuroor and Raqeeb Alam have penned the lyrics of the songs, they have been composed by Jakes Bejoy. Shreya Ghoshal, Vijay Yesudas, Jakes Bejoy, Udith, Rakesh Kishore, Muhammed Aslam, Jagdish, Abhishek, Mame Khan and The Elfa Choir have sung them.

"Monsoon Mangoes" has five songs titled "Mangoes", "Rosie", "Asha", "Naadinu" and "Beethe Din", among which the item song video "Rosie" featuring Jacob Gregory was released recently.

The upcoming comedy entertainer "Monsoon Mangoes" is the directorial venture of Abi Varghese of popular Malayalam sitcom "Akkara Kazhchakal" fame. The film also has Iswarya Menon, Vijay Raaz, Vinay Forrt, Tovino Thomas, Sanju Sivaram, Jacob Gregory, Nandu K, Josukutty V, Sajini S and Thampy Antony in pivotal roles and has completely been shot in the US.

While the screenplay of the movie has been co-written by Abi, Naveen Bhaskar and Matt Grubb, cinematography has been handled by Lukasz Pruchnik and editing by Don Max. "Monsoon Mangoes", produced under the banner of Kayal Films by Antony P Thekkek and Prema P Thekkek, will hit the screens on 15 January to lock horns with Prithviraj Sukumaran's "Pavada".
