The trailer of "Life of Josutty", starring Dileep, was released on Wednesday, 2 September. The Malayalam film, directed by "Drishyam" director Jeethu Joseph and written by Rajesh Varma, is touted as a family entertainer.
The director, however, cautions prospective movie-goers that the upcoming Dileep-starrer will not have any twists or suspenses like his Mohanlal-starrer "Drishyam", which broke several box-office records in Malayalam cinema. It was remade in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi.
Meanwhile, the upcoming Dileep-starrer is about the 30 years in the life of Josutty. It was shot in Kattappana (Idukki) and New Zealand.
Dileep will play the titular role of Josutty. The cast will also have Rachana Narayanankutty, Jyothi Krishna, Aqsa Bhatt, Suraj Venjarammoodu and Sunil Sukhada in pivotal roles.
The cinematography is handled by Ravichandran, while editing is done by Ayoob Khan. The music is composed by Anil Johnson.
"Life of Josutty", which is produced by Eros International, will be released on 18 September.
