The upcoming suspense entertainer, "Lens," written, directed and produced by Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan, has been in the news after filmmaker Lal Jose announced his decision to distribute the low-budget movie in Kerala by his production house. Now, Vineeth Sreenivasan, who is known as an all-rounder in Mollywood, has come forward praising the makers of "Lens."
Vineeth has made positive comments regarding the movie after watching it during a special screeing on Wednesday, June 8. The director-actor says it is a relevant movie that should be watched by the internet savvy generation of the society. He has also appreciated LJ Films Pvt. Ltd. for distributing the movie to the theatres in Kerala.
"Saw the film "Lens" today. Movie is about to release on June 17th and i had the privilege to watch it well in advance.. thank you Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan formaking the arrangements.. There are so many things i wanted to say about this film.. Infact, if the movie was released already, i would have written in detail.. For now, i' ll just say this.. This film needs to be seen by today's internet savvy generation. It's relevant, it's gritty, it's honest and it haunts.. I hope many people take the effort to watch this film.. Really appreciate LJ Films for bringing it to theatres.. All the best to the entire team of Lens [sic]," Vineeth posted on his Facebook page.
Following the Facebook post by Vineeth, "Lens" director Jayaprakash has also come forward to thank the filmmaker for his positive response on the upcoming movie. "Thank you Vineeth Sreenivasan for taking time to watch LENS. Thanks a lot on behalf of LENS for writing such a honest review. It is amazing and very thoughtful that you are supporting our small film [sic]," Jayaprakash wrote on his social media account.
Meanwhile, Mollywood star Nivin Pauly has also wished the team of "Lens." "Wishing good luck for the film , releasing through LJ Films Pvt Ltd. :) [sic]," the "Jacobinte Swargarajyam" actor wrote on his Facebook page.
"Lens" will be officially released by LJ Films Pvt Ltd in Kerala on June 17 and it will lock horns with another low-budget movie, "Ozhivudivasthe Kali" (An Off-Day Game), which had won the Kerala State Best Film Award in 2015. Filmmaker Aashiq Abu will distribute the Sanal Kumar Sasidharan-directed movie in Kerala.
