Lenovo A7000 Set to Debut in India on 7 April; 5 Key Features

Early this year, Lenovo released a budget 4G smartphone A6000 in India, now the company is ready to launch its phablet variant A7000 in the subcontinent on Tuesday (7 April).

64-bit Class Octa-core SoC (System on Chip):

A7000 houses the 64-bit class MediaTek Octa-core processor. One of the advantages of having a 64-bit processor is that the phone's performance and RAM management will be more optimised so that the resources are efficiently used among the apps. Moreover, the use of 8-cores makes the phone work efficiently and flawlessly which results in less lag while performing multi-tasking like opening numerous app at a single time or while playing high-intensity games.

And most of the apps which are being released this year are developed using 64-bit class compatible codes, making Lenovo A7000 future-proof.

4G-LTE connectivity:

Like Lenovo A6000, the new A7000 is also said to support LTE (FDD) - Band 1, 3, 7, 20 (2600), LTE (TDD) - Band 40 (2300). With this connectivity feature, smartphone owners can enjoy high-speed internet. He/she can download files with 150 mbps speed and upload data with 50mbps speed.

Lenovo's A7000 runs on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop (with Vibe UI). Android being the world's most popular mobile operating system, its ecosystem literally houses more than 1 million apps and games leaving users spoilt for choices.

Lenovo A7000 is the world's first smartphone to house the latest Dolby Atmos system. This advanced audio technology makes music and voices of the artists be heard with more clarity and have a broader range from highs to lows, with the greatest subtlety.

Lenovo A7000 houses with an 8.0-mp camera with LED flash and auto-focus on the rear-side and a 5.0-mp snapper on the front.

Price:

Lenovo is expected to be priced around ₹10,000 and is the one of the most handful budget smartphones in the market to boast this 64-bit based chipsets.

It is set to take on the popular brands such as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, Micromax YU Yureka, Huawei Honor 4X and the soon-be-to-released Microsoft Lumia 640 series smartphones.
