Kaththi First Look for Vijay's Birthday
The first look of Vijay's "Kaththi" is confirmed to release on 22 June, which happens to be the actor's birthday.
Post the success of "Thuppakki", Vijay-Murugadoss's upcoming film "Kaththi" is eagerly awaited by fans. The first look was expected to be out on Tamil New Year Day (14 April), but the "Kaththi" team delayed the release.
Now, it has been confirmed that the first look will be released on 22 June as a special birthday treat for Vijay fans.
"Kaththi" music composer Anirudh has confirmed the news on his twitter handle.

The film, touted to be an action entertainer, will have Vijay in dual roles. Samantha, Sathish and bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh are among others who will play pivotal roles in the big budget entertainer produced by Ayngaran International.
Vikram-Samantha Film Titled "Paththu Endrathukullaye"?
Vikram-Samantha's new film kicked off on Monday. The film is directed by Vijay Milton of "Goli Soda" fame and is produced by Fox Star and AR Murugadoss productions.
The film's shooting is likley to be wrapped by October and it is expected to hit the screens this year.
This is the first time that Vikram and Milton have teamed up for a film project. Actor Pasupathi will reportedly appear in a pivotal in the film, while Imaan will handle the music.
There has been a buzz doing the rounds that the Vikram starrer has been titled "Paththu Endrathukullaye" (before counting ten). However, an official confirmation regarding the title is still awaited.
Trailer of Parthepan's "Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam" Released
The trailer of Parthepan's new film "Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam" was released on Monday. The film does not have a story, but is said to be a collection of events. To watch the trailer, click HERE.
Parthepan has cast new faces in lead roles, while supporting characters have been done by experienced actors like Thambi Ramaiah. A number of popular Tamil film stars including Arya, Amala Paul, Taapsee Pannu, Vijay Sethupathi, Prakash Raj and Vishal will be appearing in cameo roles in the film, produced by K. Chandramohan of Reves Creations banner.
"Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam" is expected to hit theatres very soon.
Vijay-Amala Paul to Marry on 12 June
Director Vijay and "Mynaa" actress Amala Paul are set to tie the knot on 12 June.
The couple on Monday met mediapersons to distribute invites for their wedding. During the press meet, Amala announced that post her marriage she might not do commercial films but might take up performance-oriented roles.
"Earlier, my career was my priority," Amala was quoted as saying by Deccan Chronicle. "After Vijay entered my life, my priorities have changed. Now, my full concentration is on taking care of him. I may not be part of full-fledged commercial films, but I may consider taking up any performance-oriented roles that come my way," she said.
Vijay said that he is marrying his friend, who knows his pluses and minuses. "There's an advantage to being friends and then getting married. We know each other's pluses and minuses," he said.
The wedding ceremony is likely to be a grand affair with the presence of several celebrities from the Tamil film industry.
Karthi-Ranjith Film Titled "Madras"
Actor Karthi is working in a film directed by Ranjith of "Attakathi" fame. Earlier, there were reports that the project has been titled "Kaali," but now the team has reportedly zeroed in on "Madras" as the film's title.
The Karthi starrer is set in North Madras and the plot revolves around how the actor solves a problem and saves his friends, reported the Times of India.
Telugu actress Catherine Tresa will be making her Tamil film debut with "Madras" and will play the female lead opposite Karthi. The shooting for the project has been completed and the film is expected to hit theatres soon.
