The audio release of Vijay-Samantha's upcoming film "Kaththi" is likely to happen in a grand manner at the London Wembley arena on 20 September, according to reports.
The latest buzz is that Vijay and Samantha will be performing during the audio launch along with the film's music composer Anirudh, reported Indiaglitz. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this.
Directed by Murugadoss, "Kaththi" is one of the most-anticipated films of 2014. Around 70 percent of the film's shooting is completed and after a short break, "Kaththi" team has resumed its shooting in Chennai.

The shooting is expected to be wrapped up soon and then the post-production work will begin.
Produced by Lyca Productions and Ayngaran International, "Kaththi" is deemed as an action thriller with Vijay appearing in dual roles. Samantha plays the female lead opposite Vijay for the first time, while Neil Nitin Mukesh dons the villain role. The film also has comedian Sathish and Bengali actor Tota Roy in pivotal roles.
"Kaththi" faced objections from some fringe groups a few months ago owing to Lyca's involvement with "Kaththi." It was alleged that the owner of Lyca Productions is close to Sri Lankan President Rajapakse, whose government is blamed for the killings of Sri Lankan Tamils during the country's civil war that ended in 2009.
The company's association with the Vijay starrer did not go down well with some Tamil groups and they raised their concerns. Following this issue, "Kaththi" producers issued a statement clarifying that they are not an anti-Tamil group.
Recently, a student community also has issued an opposition statement against "Kaththi" citing Lyca's involvement with the film. The latest buzz is that the producers are planning to meet top Tamil leaders like Vaiko and Nedumaran in August to clarify their stand, reported Cinemalead.
"Kaththi" is slated to hit the screens for Diwali this October.
