The wedding rituals of one of Telly land's most popular couples Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava kicked off with a star-studded sangeet ceremony at a hotel in Juhu, with who's who of television industry in attendance.

Before the sangeet ceremony, Ankita and Karan posed for the paparazzi. Karan looked dapper in a blue bandhgala, while the bride-to-be Ankita looked gorgeous in an orange and sea green lehenga.

The event saw the performances of the couple Karan and Ankita and Kiran Bhargava.

A-listers from television industry and Bollywood, dressed in their best traditional outfits, attended the first function of the three-day grand wedding celebration.

Yesteryear actor Jeetendra with wife Shobha Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon, Prem Chopra, Rakesh Roshan with wife Pinky Roshan, actress Supriya Pathak, Natasa Stankovic, Suyyash Rai, Karan Tacker, Krystle D'Souza, Kishwer Merchantt, Shabbir Ahluwalia and Roopal Tyagi among others were present at the sangeet ceremony.

The whole cast of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" including Anita Hassanandani, Divyanka Tripathi with onscreen daughter Ruhi (Ruhanika), Aly Goni, Mihika Verma, Sangram Singh, Shahnaz Rizwan and Shireen Mirza among others also attended the sangeet ceremony.
