"Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8" contestant Faisal Khan, who has been impressing all with his stunning dance performances, will soon make a debut on the big screen.
Faisal has bagged Marathi film "Prem Kahani", the shooting of which is already over.
The film is based on the concept of reincarnation and the 16-year-old will play the role of a Rajasthani boy Baiju. Faisal, will also be seen showcasing his dancing skills in the film.
Talking about his role in his debut film, Faisal told Hindustan Times: "I took it up as a challenge. I liked the concept and the script. As an actor, the film has the perfect recipe for me, in terms of acting, action and dance. It's a performance-oriented role, and I have always been inclined to taking up such characters. I did not have to speak Marathi because my character isn't from the region."
"I see this film as a great learning experience. I am hoping to do films in Hindi as well as in other languages soon. I am open to doing good work across all mediums," added the young actor.
Faisal rose to fame with his stunning moves in "Dance India Dance Li'l Masters 2". The young actor-dancer later went on to play the lead role of young Pratap in popular TV show "Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap".
Meanwhile, on "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8" also known as "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded", Faisal is safe from elimination in the upcoming weekend after he received the immunity ball for his lavani dance.
