Actor J.D. Chakravarthy is reportedly preparing to tie the nuptial knot with a girl from a Delhi-based business family. His wedding would likely take place in the next few months.
J.D. Chakravarthy is 45 year old and many of his fans were wondering about why he has not married yet. It was speculated that he was against the idea of wedding. But reports suggest that he has agreed to get hitched after his mother insisted on him. "JD loves his mother and has great respect for her. He finally agreed as his mother wanted to see him settled," a source told the Deccan Chronicle.
Meanwhile, the actor has confirmed the reports about his impending marriage, but he denied that he was against the system. "I have never said that I was against marriage, but I feel that it needs responsible and maturity. I feel that I got both this year and thus I am going to marry," DC quoted Chakravarthy as saying.
Chakravarthy began his career as a character artistes and played a negative role in his debut movie "Siva," which was directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Later, he forayed into Bollywood debut with the remake of "Siva" in 1990. He made his debut as a hero with the blockbuster Hindi film "Satya," which was directed by Ram Gopal Varma.
He has starred in around 50 films in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam films in his acting career spanning 28 years. He also made his debut as director with "Darwaza Bandh Rakho". Later, he went on to direct "Darna Zaroori Hai," "Homam" and "Sidham."
The actor has won the Nandi Special Jury Award for his performance in 1995 Telugu film "Gulabi," which is an action-packed love story, set in the backdrop of girl-smuggling to Dubai. He has also bagged the Screen Award Special Jury Award for his debut Bollywood film "Satya" in 1999.
