Close on the heels of launching the cheapest dual-selfie camera smartphone in India, Intex has added another affordable selfie-centric smartphone to its portfolio.
Dubbed Intex Elyt E6, the latest smartphone from the Indian brand has been launched at a price of Rs 6,999. The new device will be sold exclusively by Flipkart starting December 15.
Intex Elyt E6 is targeted towards the selfie-loving crowd and will be competing against the likes of the recently-launched Redmi Y1 and even the Redmi 5A, since they fall in the same price point.
Intex Elyt E6 specifications
Talking about the specs, Intex Elyt E6 sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D curved Asahi "Dragontrail" glass protection on top. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek chipset clocked at 1.3Ghz, which is mated to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The storage can be expanded further via a microSD card (up to 128GB).
The Elyt E6 comes equipped with a 13MP autofocus camera at the back, accompanied by an LED flash. As mentioned earlier, the front-facing selfie camera is an 8MP unit that's bundled with a host of software features including a bokeh-mode that lends a "depth effect" to the photos.
The Intex E6 is backed by a massive 4000mAh Li-Po non-removable battery, which Intex claims delivers up to 16 hours of talk time or more than 12 days of standby time on a single charge.
In terms of connectivity, the phone offers 4G support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB OTG and dual-SIM support.
Intex Elyt E6 is powered by Android 7.0 Nougat and comes in a black colour option.
