South Korean auto major Hyundai's first and flagship luxury sedan G90 from its newly set-up luxury brand Genesis made its online debut just a couple of days ago. Now, a fresh batch images of G90 luxury sedan has started doing the rounds, this time giving us another look at the extra long wheelbase (LWB) G90.
Caught on camera by the motor buffs at MotorOctane, the latest spy shots show the luxury sedan Genesis G90 sans camouflage with long and stretched wheelbase. From the pictures, the only major difference that could be spotted was the stretched wheelbase and the massive rear doors.
Base G90, which will make its debut in Korea in early 2016, measures 5,205mm in length, 1,915mm in width, 1,495mm height and has a wheelbase of 3,160mm. Under the hood, G90 will get the 3.8-litre V6 GDI engine develops 310bhp and 395Nm and the 3.3-litre V6 turbo-GDI engine develops 365bhp and 510Nm of torque. There is also range topping 5.0-litre V8 GDI engine develops 419bhp and 520Nm of torque. All engines are mated to eight-speed automatic transmission. The spotted G90 extra long wheelbase is also likely to get power from the same.
The feature list of Genesis includes a Lexicon sound system, 12.3-inch infotainment screen, wireless charging, and a three-zone climate control system will part of the package.
The new sedan, which is designed by prestige design division of Hyundai headed by Luc Donckerwolke is expected to be introduced in the global market in late 2016.
