Huawei is responding to the ever-increasing smartphone competition with two new models set to debut soon. As the demand for high-end devices with affordable price tag is mounting, Huawei's latest approach fits the needs of most mobile shoppers.
According to the latest round of reports, Huawei is expected to launch two variants of Honor 7 smartphone to meet the budget requirements of the consumers.
Based on the rumours so far, Huawei will launch its mid-range Honor 7 smartphone this month while reserve the higher-end Honor 7 Plus release until July. As reported by mobile-dad, Honor 7 will sport a 5-inch Full HD display and be powered by a Kirin 935 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM. In addition, the handset is said to come with 16GB onboard storage and a 3,280mAh battery.
According to Tech First Post, Honor 7 Plus will pack some of the industry's highest standard specs. Rumours suggest that Honor 7 Plus will sport a 5.5-inch screen with the same Full HD resolution as in the Honor 7 smartphone. Under the hood, Honor 7 Plus will pack an impressive 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that will be powered by a Kirin 950 processor. The large size of the handset will house a bigger battery, expected at 4,000mAh. No word on the availability of microSD card expansion on either phone has been reported so far.
To add a premium feel to the devices, Huawei is expected to build both Honor 7 and Honor 7 Plus out of metal. It is quite expected that two Huawei smartphones will run on Google's latest Android Lollipop OS with Emotion UI 3.0 out-of-the-box.
Additionally, Honor 7 Plus is said to have a dual-lens set-up for its primary shooter. Diving into the camera specs, Honor 7 will boast a 13mp primary snapper with Optical Image Stabilisation and LED flash. Huawei will also integrate a fingerprint scanner at the bottom of the rear camera, as per rumours.
Huawei is yet to confirm the existence of both the handsets. Given the rumours, both handsets are expected to hit an effective price range. The Honor 7 model will carry a price tag of around ₹20,000 while the higher-end Honor 7 Plus will be available at ₹28,000 approximately.
